“a bitter alkaloid C8H10N4O2 found especially in coffee, tea, cacao, and kola nuts and used medicinally as a stimulant”
“an engine in which the mixture of air and fuel is compressed until enough heat is created to ignite the mixture that uses diesel fuel instead of gasoline”
I run on caffeine. My life runs on diesel.
This blog is a personal record of my life working for a third generation family owned large scale farming and custom harvesting operation. For the better part of the year, I spend a highly disproportionate time staring at fields of various grain and spending way too many hours in pickups, combines, tractors, and semis.
Some posts will be amusing, some will most likely be boring. Some will be totally random, others may touch base on current events, not only in the agriculture world but events taking place on this crazy planet we call Earth.
Photography and writing have been both long time passions of mine, along with food (I love cooking and definitely love eating), the study of sciences and history, nearly all genres of music, animals, gardening and homesteading, architecture, and a slew of other things.
I’m a jack of all trades, master of none.
I grew up in northeastern Wisconsin and have settled in north central Nebraska, of all places. I married a pretty awesome guy in early 2016, and we have a loveably psychotic German Shepherd/Keplie mix named Bella.
